• ADM's Michele Rach Receives Defendant's Verdict in Supreme Court, Nassau County
Michele D. Rach, a partner in ADM’s Albertson office, recently obtained a defense verdict in Supreme Court, Nassau County. The firm represented a local Long Island school district. The plaintiff was injured in gym class after jumping off a traverse wall and sustained a compression fracture. The plaintiff alleged that the school district was negligent in its supervision of the student, in its hiring, in providing improper instructions, and in not using proper equipment. Each party presented expert testimony supporting their respective positions. The jury unanimously decided there was no negligence on behalf of School District.
