Jeff Kadish of ADM’s New Jersey office recently obtained a directed verdict in a multi-vehicle accident case in Supreme Court, Richmond County. We successfully argued that our corporate clients did not own or control the vehicles involved in the accident. The Plaintiff was a 46-year-old construction worker who alleged to have sustained injuries to his cervical and lumbar spine, for which he underwent a fusion surgery at C4-C5. He had not returned to work since the accident and claimed that he will never be able to return. Plaintiff’s demand was $3,000,000 and no offer was ever made on behalf of our client.
